Jan Jakobsson has studied architecture in Lund (SE), Zürich (CH) and Aarhus (DK) and graduated 1999. In between the studies he also worked in Berlin (D) and Oslo (N). Amongst others, Jan has extensive experience from retail projects of different sizes, from individual retailers to large scale shopping centres. Though based in Sweden most of these years, he has a very broad international experience and used to work in different cultures. Jan finds true joy in meeting people of different backgrounds and competence since he thinks that cooperation is a base, not only to create successful solutions and long lasting architecture, but for society at large.

Kerstin has studied architecture in Lund, Madrid and Quito, and since 2005 she has worked mainly in large mixed-used projects such as the Max IV laboratory in Lund and the new Triangeln block in Malmö. She has great experience of long, complex processes and advanced 3D design focusing on coordination and optimization, while maintaining the initial ideas and design concept till finished construction. Kerstin has also worked closely with both clients and users and likes the challenge of finding good solutions that meet both wishes, demands and logistical nodes that a complex program can provide.

Since graduating from Accademia Italiana Moda & Design in Florence as well as Accademia Cappiello in 1990’s, Lisa Nilsson has been working with interior design. In the beginning of her professional career she held various positions at IKEA companies. She worked as an interior architect at Work IKEA where she mostly planned offices and public buildings. She also contributed to the commercial planning of IKEA stores, both in Europe, the Middle East as well as Asia. For a few of years she ran her own practice creating interiors and workplaces for private persons as well as companies. In 2005 she started working for the Swedish retailer Hemtex where she did the planning of their stores, developing new concepts as well as having the role of project leader. Lisa is now a part of the Jakobsson Pusterla team as a responsible for interior design commissions. Her presence add a strong interior competence to the company profile.

Marco Pusterla graduated in architecture at Politecnico di Milano in 2001. Since 2002 he has worked with urban planning and residential projects for one of the largest architectural firms in Sweden. As a complement to his work as an architect he has been teaching assistant and guest lecturer in several faculties of architecture in Italy and Sweden. Marco has participated in numerous international architecture competitions on the theme of urban planning winning a number of prizes including three EUROPAN awards. Some of his projects has also been published in architectural magazines and books.

Olivier Gras graduated from ENSA Paris-La Villette in 1998 and has been working in Sweden since 2005. A post-graduate program at the Royal Academy of Arts revealed his passion for the public space and he spent the last years working in the field of urban planning. His love for visualization and communication of architectural projects alongside a deep interest for programming has led him to develop strategies for using information technologies as a catalyst in the design process. Through parametric design intentions connected to design response: both at a very large scale as well as in small projects these methods opens for new potentials.

Piotr Wisniowski graduated in architecture at Cracow University of Technology in 2016 and joined Jakobsson Pusterla in 2017. Piotr has started his career in Podczaszy Pracownia Architektury in Cracow, he is passionate about 3D visualizations and graphic design, but his curiosity for combining other disciplines with architecture led him to taking up courses in psychology and philosophy at Jagiellonian University.

Daniele is a very talented Italian architect. Since 2015 he has been a great resource for us and a strong support in some of our residential projects. His talent and passion for architecture are proved by some remarkable realized projects in his background. He has won prices in several architectural competitions and some of his works has been published in architecture books or magazines. Jesús Mateo and Zero Architects has been collaborating with Jakobsson Pusterla since the company started. A twenty year old friendship and several architectural competitions are the starting points and the common grounds for this collaboration. Together we have been able to achieve great results within urban planning and some residential projects.
